My understanding is that Beehaw is an American instance. It's left in America, but more centrist to right internationally.

What's the line, though? No content should ever be moderated/removed? I'm sure there is a topic or viewpoint you have no interest in being inundated with that is fine for someone else. If there isn't, that's abnormal based on my personal experience.

In Jerboa, there is an icon on the bottom that takes you to the search function. I've been able to "join" communities from other instances using it
