Another note: it's almost impressive how capitalism has managed to make this once beautiful land so ugly in many parts.

Where I live they keep cutting down forrests to put up generic looking 'mixed use' luxury condos. These usually have a first floor that has restaurants and 'boutique' stores (usually just someone scalping stuff from Etsy) that constantly fail.

There's enough content on Quora to keep the dunk tank going until the sun explodes.
