I thought you were overeacting on the upper floor, but what the fuck were they thinking with that???

A lot of people still think this can be resolved peacefully. I think it's naive at best, but we'll see what gives first. Trump's most trusted and loyal henchmen, or people's belief that there's something good left in the republican party, 'cause that' s what a peaceful resolution will depend on. Nothing will change even if every democratic official grows a spine. At this point, everything hangs on Trump's inner circle.

I suppose the hope is that the military will fracture because a lot of soldiers won't be happy to shoot at the civilians they're supposedly sworn to protect. But that's entirely dependent on how brainwashed they are, and how much information they're able to get.

China and other hostile countries

When has China actually been hostile towards the USA in the last 40 years?

Okay, well there's something called context. When you comment on something within a certain context appearing contradicting, it's reasonable to assume you're contradicting that certain context. My comment was only and completely about Iran not being a victim, when you comment something that appears to want to be contradicting, it would seem you're trying to prove that Iran is in fact a victim.

Here in Denmark the right wing faught hard to make sure no actual integration would happen. Now they point at the badly integrated immigrants and say "look, they're not even interested in being integrated".

We have laws that prevent immigrants from getting jobs, and a language course that isn't mandetory. These laws are in place because of the right wing party "Danish Peoples Party" didn't want immigrants to be able to succeed.

How are people supposed to be integrated when they can't meet the people they need to integrate with?

When we got a shitload of ukrainians, the law preventing them from working was abolished, but only for ukrainian refugee. Guess what? The ukrainians are integrating amasingly. Turns out, if you get to socialise with people, you're more likely to learn how to behave around those people.
