I can't tell if i'm against gambling because it's transparent exploitation or for it to own the chuds
Guys like this turn that shit into their own personal torment nexus, doing things I wish I could do to them...willingly. Hell, let's build casino gulags (casilags)
Exactly that, funny enough.
Yeah, it doesn't help that the game really wasn't designed with them in mind - the switch to tank controls was a fairly late publisher-mandated thing, so there wasn't really much window to retool the game to match.
It’s strange to me to give up on the every thing else in your life for the plight of the Palestinian people
Hell, as generally self-centered as I am, there're far more important things in the world than I. Often exponentially so.

A lot of games either did them badly, or did them when there were better options. (Rascal, for instance)

Mostly just kind of came off as too drab to be a viable follow-up to Obama, too. You've got to escalate in some way.
With the 2020 and coming 2024 cycles coming off as referendums on 2016, it gets hard at times to recall that 2016 itself had some referendum tendencies (referendencies); resentment from the 2008 primaries was a factor in the animus between the Clinton crowd and everyone else.
The Anita Bryant "somehow totally innocent, faints at the sight of sin, doesn't know what a blowjob is" pearl clutcher crowd are still around, depending exactly who you're talking to and where.
I honestly just kind of don't really like people. Lost any actual respect for them somewhere along the line. Always had a lot of trouble with bonding, but my capacity to do so kind of drowned in the sheer depth of the general scorn and paranoia I feel towards the right at some point over the past fourteen or fifteen years. To me, it's really more about getting rid of them than it is helping anyone else. Shit's on my mind 24/7. Kind of locked in a permanent deimatic display of fear and loathing.
If they're not the right (a threat), they're often insufficiently radical or insufficiently skilled to pose a solid bulwark between me and the right (a liability), or if they meet the criteria they're someone I could possibly build some sort of solidarity with so I can "cash in the favor" and swing them at the right when the time comes (a potential asset).
