TLDR?

Usb-c is going to be a big deal for connecting devices to the phone. Now I don’t need to have some studios lightning adapter to plug in a usb drive or to get video out.
I look forward to experimenting with different things connected to see how they work. I’m curious how video out is handled. But I’m guessing I’ll be disappointed in most cases.
I expect being able to connect a usb drive will be helpful though.
The only thing apple can really do to push the platform forward is to allow people to dock their phone and use it as a desktop.
But they are not doing this because it will hurt their laptop and desktop sales.
They also don’t want to let people sideload. They know that people will not want to use a washed down desktop version because people don’t like using the washed down iPadOS desktop version.
Is c# mainly just used in this engine?
One problem they can face is hardware failure. It becomes difficult to replace the hardware with something that works on those old operating system.
There are business’ built around refurbishing old stuff for these computers, but it’s pretty expensive.
It’s a short term solution. A real long term solution is to have the software rewritten.
Also their job is probably pretty good. I mean, you probably don’t really have bad days the way the rest of the working world does.
I’m self employed and I love what I do, I can’t imagine ever walking away from it. I slow down my pace as I get older, but I won’t stop completely.
I’m using my wife’s old android for YouTube. It has a microusb port and I really hate it.
Lighting was leaps better than that, but usb-c is really the king of ports at the moment.
Now, everyone who has ever responded to one of my comments also has to pay me.
Why a terrible company. I don’t even want to redeem their free games any more.
Thanks for responding to my post.
That will be uhh… 0.20.
They said they have a fraud detection system for their ads business and will use that as a starting point.
I don’t see how they are going to be able to move forward with this change.
Thanks, a few Lemmy posts later and I saw this article that explain
Honestly I am fine with it. It looks like they did not have the usb3 controller built into the cpu until they made the 17 and m1 chips. To be honest, I am not going be moving any large files between the phone and a flash drive, at most a short video. The slower speeds will not bother me.
