Could have had it, but Buffalo isn't winning anything if McDerm is going to call the defense like the last 2 drives. Absurdly soft coverage, especially on that OT drive.

While the #1 seed is absolutely desired for the Bye, the NFC playoffs are going to be rough this year. SF with a healthy Purdy routinely hang up 30+ pts, even on elite defenses, while the defense is still stacked. The Eagles have a great DL, and an automatic play in short yardage situations. The Cowboys are also pretty stacked from a roster standpoint, and only really held back by their QB enjoying critical TDs or Coach not helping him enough. None of that includes a budding Detroit team that also has a very strong offense, and could certainly knock off one of the above teams.
