Same here. Mastodon didn’t stick, same with Twitter. Much more of a Reddit user so I expect to be more of a Lemmy user.

Thank you for adding the instance in the search function! Glad to see there’s been a bunch of bug fixes and QoL updates!

Spending time with my family since I don’t see them a lot during the week due to my work schedule. House project. Lots and lots of house projects.

I went from digg to Reddit during that mass exodus and will be doing the same from Reddit to Lemmy. It is a little bittersweet seeing what Reddit was 10+ years ago to what it’s become, but I’m excited for the future and to see what becomes of Lemmy, kbin, etc.

I like how Apollo will show trending subreddits. Not sure if mlem can support that given the federated design of lemmy but it was super useful in finding new subreddits.

I didn’t realize how much I missed swipe capabilities until I started using Mlem. Having those added to the app would be great.

I agree with you. I figure out how to search for communities but a general search functionality would be great!

That’s great! I’m sure it’s a lower priority item, but good to know it’s in the roadmap and I’m sure will help with community engagement. Thanks!

I like it better than the ghosted/translucent mouse! Is Mlem going to support multiple app icons for user preference?

I can’t wait to see how bad this goes after reading about the Apollo drama with Reddit.

Took me a few minutes to figure out Lemmy, but agree it seems like a decent replacement for Reddit assuming the communities continue to grow.
