The Rams gave Stafford a four-year, $160 million contract in 2022 after winning the Super Bowl. The team traded Ramsey in March after they knew that it wouldn’t be possible to give him the guarantees that he wanted added to his deal, contract moves that the Miami Dolphins were willing and able to do at this time. L.A. has been almost completely out of the free agent market this year, lost an inordinate amount of free agents, cut players like Bobby Wagner, and only completed signing their rookie draft class as of Friday.

To be clear, the Rams did not ask to “restructure” Stafford’s contract. They wouldn’t even need to get his permission to do that. A restructure is pushing salary cap commitments into the future by turning base salary into bonus money. Even if they wanted to, Stafford’s deal creates no 2023 cap space because of a restructure. According to Cowherd, they asked Stafford to “re-do” his deal, which could mean a number of things including taking a pay cut.

Stafford has a relatively cheap $20 million salary cap hit in 2023 because of how his deal is structured, but his contract also makes it impossible to release him either this year or next year. Trading Stafford before the deadline, which Breer says is not impossible depending on the circumstances by then, would save a small amount of money now but eat into L.A.’s salary cap for 2024. Stafford’s salary cap hit goes up to $49.5 million next season and $50.5 million in 2025.

The proverbial torch might have just been passed.

It took over four hours across five grueling sets, but Carlos Alcaraz is the men's Wimbledon champion for the first time. Alcaraz prevailed 1-6, 7-6(6), 6-1, 3-6, 6-4 in Sunday's memorable clash against Novak Djokovic, which could be an early chapter in a series of meetings in Grand Slam finals over the next couple of years.

The storylines were obvious, as Djokovic is the 36-year-old legend who was going for his 24th Grand Slam title after already setting the record on the men's side with 23. He won the 2022, 2021, 2019 and 2018 Wimbledon titles since his last loss in 2017.

Then there was the top-seeded Alcaraz at 20 years old looking for both his first Wimbledon title of his early career and his second Grand Slam after winning the 2022 US Open. He missed his first passing of the torch moment when he lost to Djokovic in the semifinals of this year's French Open, but this gave him another chance on the sport's grandest stage.

Ron DeSantis’ 2024 campaign is cutting staff as it burns through cash and struggles to gain on Donald Trump less than two months after he announced his White House bid.

The presidential hopeful was forced to lose about 10 staff as money is drying up and his campaign is faltering on the back of poor public appearances and an apparently muddled strategy.

The Florida governor is now plotting a major reset, starting with an unusual mainstream media blitz, to reassure backers alarmed by his performance since his botched live presidential launch on Twitter in May.

The DeSantis campaign posted an impressive $20 million haul in second-quarter fundraising, surpassing the $17.7 million raised by Donald Trump.

Figures show the 44-year-old governor saw a surge in fundraising after declaring his presidential bid on May 24, followed by a sharp drop as he struggled to gain momentum.

The uptick was mostly driven by deep-pocketed donors, more than two-thirds of whom have now reached their donation limit. Just 15 per cent of the cash came from small-dollar donors.

Students are being “ripped off” by universities offering bad degrees, Rishi Sunak warns as he unveils a crackdown on low-quality courses.

Writing exclusively for The Telegraph, the Prime Minister says too many young people are being sold a “false dream” that going to university will give them the skills they need to get a “decent job”.

As part of a government plan to improve standards, the universities watchdog will for the first time take future salaries into account when judging if a course is failing participants.

It will be able to cap student numbers for courses where a high proportion of graduates do not go on to a professional job or further education.

Top fees for many foundation courses will also be reduced amid fears students taking them are being used as “cash cows”.

The moves are part of a wider drive by successive Conservative governments to make sure university students are getting their money’s worth after rises in tuition fees.

Sadly... It's not true!

I think... it's just them are the breaks for a the poor girls in the photo...

Tens of thousands of cheerleaders performing most weeks of the year across all the United States and someday, somebody is just getting to shit on.

It's unavoidable.

This is really wild - it was approved then removed.

Apparently, he was fired...

DoorDash confirmed to NBC News that the Dasher had been removed from the platform due to the incident in question.

"Respectfully asking for a tip is acceptable but abusing or harassing someone is never acceptable," said a spokesperson. "Our rules exist to help ensure everyone who uses our platform — Dashers, customers, merchants — have a safe and enjoyable experience. We expect everyone to treat others with respect and we will enforce our rules fairly and consistently."

But... it isn't that, Yobama.

There's a few funny trans memes here and there, but you guys had easily offended whiners literally combing through our forum trying to find stuff that they could list as offensive.

One of them, for instance, was an actual news story presented without commentary about a woman in the UK being charged and convicted for aborting a near full-term baby posted under "Crime." Someone had crossposted it to a category called 'Baby Killers,' maybe that is why people were upset... But literally one of the "shocking" instances from our Instance was a real news story with a real conviction presented without commentary.

Some people just want to be offended.

Upvoted for the compliment... I have some gratitude...

But let me also say that I think Kapow and some of the other guys are trying to populate the site with content so it makes them less engaging.

We sort of feel like we have to keep treading water.

But that is changing with all these new, wonderful users here, for which we should all be grateful.

And I am grateful that you come to post here from time to time - please keep it up.

I do not know next to anything about him but I had assumed being cast as the Hulk meant he looked good with his shirt off on some level, at least, lol

That is smart. The forgiveness is essential.
