My Space Grey M1 16in MBP next to my new Space Black M3 16in MBP. To anyone thinking there isn’t, there is a huge difference in color. in c/apple@hardware.watch

I prefer my midnight .. yes it doesn't have the new coating but the colour is more appealing to me.
