I know! I already knew something was wrong when I spent a minute trying to sever the end bit of pastry. I should have taken a photo.
Llabyrinthine
Oh, it was not good. I have made a cheat one with frozen pastry that was better, even days later.
I have encountered the most saddest Apple strudel.
The pastry was so thick and claggy… I could only eat the filling.
I feel like they’re still a feature in accommodation.
Wow, I slept terribly. To be expected. Don’t usually sleep well out of my own place, but this one takes the cake.
I had a dream that I was back home (home wasn’t quite home), but I realise I have no recollection of packing up my site and I’m trying to get back. I’m panicking in my dream because it feels so real that I really have no recollection whatsoever.
I finally make it back and I think I’m at my site and I realise I’m at the wrong site and I go to walk a little further and then I wake up in my tent.
There was a ton more details like Tim Roth and couple of people I used to know in my dream, but that one point in my dream where I thought it was real or questioning reality, freaks me out.
That’s the first time that’s ever happened.
Hmm, maybe we really are in the Matrix…
Peeps who camp regularly…
Do you really have fires in this weather?
(I’m camping and it was barely below 20 and people were having fires… Whyee?)
Edit: Yes cheat camping at a park.
😔 So frustrating. I hope your day get better.
Oh no! That is awful!
Was there anything important in it? What sort of car was it?
Good Luck! ✨
Never read the book, but I thought the film was great, both in fact.
Smashed through Chris Hammer’s Tilt last night and was impressed.
Given that I’ve been so crap at reading books, I just realised I’ve read two. Following The Tilt, I finished Jane Harper’s Exiles.
Thought it was okay. I tend to read and then compare my thoughts with reviews and kind of agree with them, even though I found it an easy meandering read due to familiarity with the style.
I have grown to really enjoy Australian crime fiction.
