Oh, I think I went through aussie.zone originally. I hadn't had any the issues that others have seemed to mention with logging in.
Okay Power Delete Suite did not quite work as advertised. LOL. It seems about half of my comments have been overwritten and the others are unaffected. We’ll have another look tomorrow.
Oh, yes. Mine shows a V. My DT account is a couple years old. Others I’ve had have been much older, but I never did the awards thing from those ones.
I don’t know. I don’t think it’s just Rdt. Maybe I’m just a bit melancholy at things in general.
I always kept forgetting to use those ones. Also I logged in on different devices, so didn’t always see them.
Which reminds me. I’m using Power Delete Suite and I think you can back up your comments locally? Was it you that was trying to save your comments?
Edit: Nvm. Exported seems to have stopped at 1000. Not sure why that is. (Didn’t realise I made that many comments?)
Edit edit: Okay, strange. Exporting has restarted.
I had no idea I’d given out 200+ Community Awards on Rdt. Not sure how I feel about that now.
It’s also got Melbourne Florida posts in it now. 😂
I have a tiny one. I always use baking paper or ensure I clean up straight away.

You make an interesting point. I was reading Lemmy documentation and some GitHub discussion regarding gamification. I did like the little fun things/quirks of Rdt, but can also understand the reasoning for why/why not.
I am honestly just impressed that members of the DT have put effort in to keep going. So just seeing everyone’s posts for the time being is enough for me. Funny how when it closed the first time, I had things that I was like, I’ll do my little brain dump/share to DT, and then realised I couldn’t and it was admittedly silly and sad at the same time.
