"Never install, carry or handle". OK but what are they for then?

Who says violence isn't good? How is "good" even defined?

Stop the clickbaitp please. Just write whatever you are trying to say here...

Also, openstreetmap itself is a centralized eco system, even though you could theoreticallly host one yourself.

That's the usual open source way. The config probably came later so they just added the option without changing the default because that would break backward compatibility.

And there would be too much boring work to build a migration.

It's a wishlist rather than a snapshot of the now

I guess that wouldn't help the deaf people though. (:

The real trick is to take that huge task and bash it into smaller pieces. Just do something really small and feel proud that you started.

I just wanted to add about the stares. Photos back then required the target to be very still ao they are just probably trying their best to keep still.

Most photos of children failed because they moved. These were very still, hence the tension in their eyes, or just a lucky shot. Anyways, photos from way back always look like death for this reason.

Most data can be de-anonymized with some clever tricks. I don't know about Mozilla but the others definitely try to keep it just anonymous enough to later be correlated with the rest of your profile.

Edit: typos

No any self hosted isn't on the radar. By big, they mean the centralized giants, i.e. Meta, Google, Telegram, Signal(?) etc.
