The right to repair laws will take effect in (at the latest) July 30 2026.

Manufactures have until then to decide what to do. Maybe Apple will just straight pull out of EU or comply by then.

It's a painfully slow process but better than not even trying like all other states on this planet.

Also a guard against corruption. It's much harder to keep bribing random jurors than getting and keeping "Jurors" that you can control. See the US Supreme Court as a cautionary tale.

Interesting idea but they are comparing different year surveys with the same age children.

Do you think that kids are more prone to lying now, than earlier years?

It may also be cheaper because they only run (and acal) when needed, instead of having a few extra servers running "just in case".
