Yes, this is why I chose not to say that it was impossible.

Perhaps the mathematical definition of a tree is wrong in stating there should be not loops, or should change to another metaphor.

Hairs can split but never merges back again. Perhaps a split hair instead of a branch? We still trim or prune the ~~leaves~~ ends. What do you call the "trunk" of a hair?

Edit: formatting

They try to vibe code it, eventually get bored and give up. It's win win (for AI companies and for programmers) in this case.

Yep, the metaphor would be good if git was a tree but kt isn't. It's very rare to have a real tree branch merge back into the trunk. Would it even still be called a branch after merging?

Impressive to work that long on something and not change the code at all. The mom('s team) was either very competent at writing configurable code or very good at pretending to work.

Indeed. If he changed the license to allow packaging the new version, at least all of those reports would be of the current version rather than the last GPL one.

Let the community in and use their time to contribute rather than locking it down as a one man project and then complaining about it.

No, but the app will inevitably have bad reviews on Android because it will not be as good - both technically and in terms of "customer service".

FOSS can't usually compete with big tech in this area and it is one of the biggest drawbacks to FOSS in general. You are on your own.

Getting 100 people together for a fight requires some planning though, might as well include some strategy.

Sounds more sane than your original comment, but I still want to point out that you are part of the problem if you keep passing on the right.

It's better to calmly wait and/or teach the drivers in the left lane to change lane when not needed, rather than enabling them by just "solving" the problem by passing on the right.

Edit: spelling

I guess you didn't learn your lesson then...

Where I live, it's illegal to pass on the right, and anywhere else it is more dangerous because it's unexpected.

Keep off the passing lane unless you are passing another vehicle.

Except for "traffic shaping" and other such bullshit that may unnecessarily cause congestion, trying to optimize the shit out of that upload.

Maybe this is why pi was chosen for half of the circumference of a circle.
