MF is your choice of term to open discussion with someone on a topic you disagree on? Surely this is going to get your audience to be open to accept your views/input.
Edit: the discussion likely is about your use case of the term free

Yeah, I'm just learning to block it and move on.
Reminds me of the bill Desantis signed in Florida a few months back making it so gas powered vehicles HAVE to be purchased from a dealer and cannot be purchased directly from the manufacturer. Telsa doesn't get hit by that bill, surely has nothing to do with Desantis owning a Tesla.
Somebody who isn't a giant asshat loudly trying to manipulate the populace's political opinions.
Otherwise they would know. Being famous isn't always a good thing.
Now if you asked who were the lead engineers/designers for said vehicles it would mean more about the vehicle itself (but most everyone wouldn't have looked them up or found their names)
That part it sounds as if they get. I believe what they are saying is if you have an instance of 1,000 users that is sick of rick and morty, that gets federated with a instance of 20,000 users that really love rick and morty, now their instance sees 20,000 active users posting rick and morty memes and jokes in every comment thread. Thats where the whole "they brigade" concept comes from. The 20k users will push their hivemind onto the 1,000 until they either stop logging in or block that instance from their user. Which now every comment thread says 300 comments but when they open it actually has less than 15.
I played Sniper Elite 5 on my fiances Xbox the other day and hadn't played games in forever. (34 years old now) I knew I could remap the buttons if needed, but the melee button they made Y. I pressed down the right stick every damn time as a built in reaction from years back.
I don't know why I felt I needed to say that, but I tell you when you find yourself looking through binoculars and getting lit up at point blank range it reminded me how frustrating games can get during quick scenarios.
I'm glad to see people talking about things that aren't positive here really. I was curious at first how much echo chamber this was going to have and the underlying obvious point that well... people who didn't like lemmy as much either:
A. Aren't going to take the time to respond to this post or
B. Won't see the post because they are gone already.
I have accounts on multiple instances, but what does transferring your data entail when you say that?
I read ~88% of its 800+ million dollar a year revenue comes from search engines.
Surely if that's true it would have no impact on their decisions /s
"The majority of Mozilla's revenue is generated from search functionality included in our Firefox product through all major search partners including Google, Bing, Yahoo, Yandex, Amazon, Ebay and others."
Everything you just said was optimistic as fuck.
750 employees, 826 million dollars in revenue a year.
So what do they choose. Fire 700 employees and go down to 26 mill revenue?
Edit: when the hivemind disperses and sees Firefox follow Google in using tokens and blocking ad blockers, you may not see it as one of the dumbest thing you've read before.
Meh, people proved that wrong with glory holes, only really have to fit 1 person and an access point.
Been while since I bought waxed paper, is it cheaper than parchment paper? I'm assuming it must be or why wouldn't you just use parchment paper instead?
