This is so GOOD. I love it.

Have you posted it on r/makeyourchoice? That's a subreddit for cyoas like this.

Oh man, I'm so torn. I kinda wanna take Wilds and just fucking live out there away from all human bs. Yeah, fuck it. I'm not optimizing anything - Imma go live out in the woods and chill with Grizzlies.

You should think of adding a drawback section, btw. (no, I'm not just saying this because I will gladly give up speech, limbs, dreams, and everything else to pick up another pill). Maybe an "on theme" one can be an "drawback pill" section where, for eg, taking the "anti-jumper pill" makes you extra-prone to fall damage. Or just super-weak and easy to bruise.

Again, great job.

BT News continues to be great. I found an interesting assessment recently of why soldiers turn to anti-imperialism more readily than cops. Can't remember where it was but it said - cops get good benefits while working and upon retirement, they have a union, they get paid well and have healthcare... essentially they have everything taken care of, so there is no economic incentive for them to bite the hand that feeds them. While vets get next to nothing. I've always wondered why that is. Why doesn't the empire take as good care of its foreign enforcers as it does its domestic ones?

What happened? The Trumpists were claiming he was the WOKE POPE.

Maybe the religious order that sought to conquer and convert the world, that genocided indigenous people and refuses to apologize, and presently diddles kids and pals around with the rich and powerful of the world aren't actually... woke?

Introducing his address the Pope said he still has a cold and asked his assistant Monsignor Filippo Ciampanelli to read it out for him, "so I don't get so fatigued.”

I hope it's Covid.

That looks and sounds scary as fuck...but also rad as hell.

I'm gonna guess it's the MagaCommunists (British Version). Seriously tho, Labour under Starmer is so fucking bad. If Corbyn could have stayed then just fucking imagine how different the party would be right now. I don't know the specifics of the situation, but maybe he should've looked into starting his own. It would be a serious contender imo.

You raise very valid points. Those are absolutely concerns I might have too if I actually believed in a god - am I following all the rules, am I good enough to get the good ending etc etc. It's good to not have illusions that a higher authority will take care of the problems of this world and actually work to fix it ourselves.

And in moments of hope, when things are improving, it seems we as humans are succeeding in that. But looking at the world now, those moments seem fewer and fewer. It gets harder to keep working on improving, or even thinking that we can improve.

But I don't want to just say injustice is natural and bad things will always happen and cannot be stopped. Individually, yeah - there will always be people who do things that are not good. But on a societal scale? A better world is possible. In this aspect, having a belief in a higher authority, one you believe will be "good" and "just" can help centre you and give you hope. I guess, spiritual rather than actually religious. But I can't even believe in that.

Galloway says that his Workers Party of Britain is anti-woke and does not stand with the LGBT+ people....The WPB claims to stand on ’’common-sense socialism’’ but behind this line stands a mixture of British nationalism, anti-migrant rhetoric, rejection of the LGBT+ community and leftist populism.

Bruh....with socialists like these, who needs fascists?

When I was younger, I became a "rational" and "atheist" type - I have to thank my parents for that. They were the scientific but spiritual type and allowed me to come to my own conclusions, rather than forcing religion down my throat. I'm glad, too. Because when I met religious people later on, I was able to look at the absurdity of it all and brush it off.

But now I'm older, and I sometimes wish this weren't the case. I truly wish I could believe in a soul or a heaven/hell or reincarnation or any other form of higher being than us. I get it. I get why people do. The world is ruled by evil people who do terrible, evil things and this belief in a higher authority where they will one day be judged, and all the innocents who suffer will finally have peace... it's the only way to cope with it.

I don't believe in a soul, but I wish I did.
