I hear ya and now my family wants to take another family member to a brewhouse and ik for a fact I'll want atleast a couple beers or cocktails because it is a brewhouse

I'll try. I was at the bar last night with friends who were drinking but didn't drink. Today I kept thinking about going to the beach again and wanting to drink and still wanting to go to bars to play pool which ik I'm going to want to drink at again eventually

Well got banned from Reddit for the 3rd time. Ill settle with midly infuriated I guess in c/mildlyinfuriating@lemmy.world

Dating apps and irl just isn't doing it. Escorts are pricey after awhile and not as satisfying and meaningful. Plus I don't wanna have to pay women for play every one time hookup. Any suggestions?

On my fifth day not drinking and not confident I can stop for the whole summer or forever. In recovery currently and still debating what I'm going to do. I'm prescribed naltrexone but don't take it. Only took it for a couple days when orignally prescribed it a few months ago. So yeah not sure if this alcohol abstinence is going to last all summer or forever

I'm in the northeast of USA. I paid for hinge before but only got a couple matches. It's the most expensive one but offers the most I'd say

32m here and ive been on dating apps for over 10 years and think they've gotten worse since the whole swiping algorithm. I always do max swipes daily on fb dating, tinder, and bumble with minimum to no success. Tinder being the worst of the three. Ik irl is better, I just am not good at it with social anxiety and overthinking. Anybody find what works on these apps if you're an average looking man?
