I agree - duolingo used to have article training but has recently started omitting them.. This makes it so much harder to learn if you just rely on an app.
Thankfully learned language comes back faster than learning from scratch. Hope you get to visit France again soon.

Recently bought an ebook reader which has a dictionary functionality and this week I got myself "The Little Prince" in German.
Looking up words and meanings directly in the ebook reader has been useful!

Switched to !joplinapp@sopuli.xyz awhile ago and I'm happy and content.
It has some rough edges but the UI is nice and it has all I need.
