Oh my god, it was mead! It was Saku Mõdu!! After all these years. I have been looking for "Honey Ale", no wonder I didn't find it.

Thank you so much, I'll be sure to enjoy two next time to fill my cravings for good.

And now I want to thank you for the other beer recommendations, have to give Tanker's Sauna Session a try (love those kinds of drinks in the winter) and will try the others next time I'm there with food!

When I'm travelling I prefer an AirBnB just so I can try local groceries. Did this in Tallinn as well and was well worth it.

And with Pirats you mean those ring chips? Next time I'll be sure to give them a test (didn't give any salty snacks a test from the store in Estonia yet).

Or - surprisingly - good advice! Lol

Local recommendations are also good! Sorry I didn't explain this in the post. I replied to boonhet in this thread about my motivations and request :)

You got a specific clothing brand to recommend for example? Something for outdoors (even better if it's winter clothes)?

Woah thanks for the list! And yeah don't think I'll find any of those products in the stores anywhere close to me, but the motivation of this post is also to get a feel for what the locals like. I've ordered certain groceries from other countries before (e.g. via a penpal from said country) and I like trying out local stuff when I'm travelling there as well.

One example is I've give some differen sets of mustard a try awhile ago and I think I'm going to try to get my hands on your recommended Põltsamaa Kange Sinep via an Estonian friend! Thanks for the tips!

Yeah now that I think about it I'm not very hopeful of the US system giving them any repercussions...

Finally some news about someone higher up questioning this absolute fuckery that is "rules for thee, not for me [you poor peasants]".

I seriously hope that these two are put into prison to rot.

Interesting, well at least the code is open-source and I've myself also skimmed through some of their code and didn't find anything suspicious. But didn't know that about Estonian laws allowing anyone to spin-up a company even if they are living outside of Estonia. Thanks for the info!

Just to add my two cents about online presence: my online presence is also limited to lemmy, linkedin, and github. The only one with my real name and picture is linkedin.

Github I only use for work and doesn't have any of my personal info and linkedin pretty much has one photo of me and works as my online CV.

I also try to keep my own visibility online low and don't see problems with that. But these kind of mailbox companies are always bit suspicious...

Nevertheless, thank you for looking into this and posting about it.

Ah crap, I'm sorry to hear that. Hope that you'll find a bearable one soon...

That's the name!! Tried to remember but couldn't. Thanks for that!

I believe many instances defederate lemmynsfw.com simply because instance admins don't want that legal responsibility and don't have tools to keep an eye on it.

It's been there for quite a long time though, just incase people here were not aware.

The dude in the december one was faking enjoyment. Would not subscribe to that one.

Used to have these with two sticks at the end of a string to do cool tricks when I was a kid.

I sucked but it was fun!
