I'll have to give that a try next time I'm there or get someone to send me. Through the crossposted thread I discovered a mead that I once tasted and was never able to find again: Saku Mõdu.

Voyager completely changed things for me. I blocked US politics subs and few keywords and woah even my /all feed is nice to scroll through!

But yeah I also hang out mainly on my /subscribed feed. Takes awhile to curate your own subscribed view and make it nice, but I highly recommend doing that using https://lemmyverse.net/

This is such a good question I feel like it could be its own post!

As far as I know about Etsy: sadly not :(

Etsy had direct competitors from Germany and France for example, but Etsy ended up buying them...

I read about that here in competitor section: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Etsy

Also that one has been posted quite a few times. But fret not! From upvotes I gather some found this for the first time and that is always positive ;)

Thank you for your list! Orto seems to even ship internationally which is cool!

And wanted to add how much I love the Estonian ccTLD .ee because it is so easy to create cool domains like karamelleee ;)

Agreed! There are so many cool apps and I love that we also have a lot of alternative web frontends too!

I currently use voyager for lemmy and love it.

Welcome to the fediverse :)

I remember hearing about them trying with another european search engine to build up their own search indexer, so I'm hopeful!

I like the UI but atleast for me the search results were not relevant enough to use at work.

Oh my god, it was mead! It was Saku Mõdu!! After all these years. I have been looking for "Honey Ale", no wonder I didn't find it.

Thank you so much, I'll be sure to enjoy two next time to fill my cravings for good.

And now I want to thank you for the other beer recommendations, have to give Tanker's Sauna Session a try (love those kinds of drinks in the winter) and will try the others next time I'm there with food!

When I'm travelling I prefer an AirBnB just so I can try local groceries. Did this in Tallinn as well and was well worth it.

And with Pirats you mean those ring chips? Next time I'll be sure to give them a test (didn't give any salty snacks a test from the store in Estonia yet).

Or - surprisingly - good advice! Lol

Local recommendations are also good! Sorry I didn't explain this in the post. I replied to boonhet in this thread about my motivations and request :)

You got a specific clothing brand to recommend for example? Something for outdoors (even better if it's winter clothes)?
