Ah sorry don't misunderstand me: I am fine with two communities co-existing and I also was eager to add buyfromeu to our sidebar if people want specifically EU centric community.

The biggest problem I personally had was that I couldn't reach the mod of this community to discuss. But you have now taken over the moderation so that's good!

I do generally agree with Blaze that lemmy has a bit of an issue with splintered communities while it is small still, but I'm also fine with this community staying and appreciate you volunteering to mod it and keep it active.

Thank you for pitching in! I'm also trying to post / add my submissions as often as possible, but life has kinda gotten in the way recently and don't many opportunities to draw and participate right now sadly.

But I do check and absolutely love the submissions and requests in this community!

I also feel like the bar might be too high for people to submit drawings to requests. I guess people are scared to share what they can draw, even though I've tried to make it clear that EVERY submission is golden <3

Sunshine had a great idea that there should be more moderators to account for possibly many different languages spoken in !buyeuropean@feddit.uk and that's why there are so many of us, to cover more languages.

Nice to hear that you are making progress! And I love to hear that you paused reading and moved on to something else for a bit; I've heard that it can be quite a common problem that people can't "pause" or "come back to the book later" and forcefully push themselves through a book they started, which can ruin a good book.

Didn't know there was a book and that it was Ukrainian, cool! And ah, a fellow !patientgamers@sh.itjust.works ;)
