K1ngC0ng-600 looks awfully content with this arrangement.

Not whole set of working clothes, but I want use this thread to recommend incredibly good and durable labour work safety shoes from Sievi, a Finnish company specializing in those kind of shoes: https://www.sievi.com/

Have kept me safe and comfortable for years when I've needed such shoes.

Ahh okay, that's a bummer. Thanks for the info!

That's interesting. Do they also mention / teach grammar rules in the app? I would love to have those in an app and not always look it up in my books / online.

This is a commentary on how boring buildings are, like seriously add some soul to the buildings, architects! (If not then please allow a huge plain concrete walls to be painted with art / different beautiful colors! Plain concrete block

Good move posting this, Blaze ;)

We should have a meme from !anarchychess@sopuli.xyz showing Blaze boldly challenging chess.com

Good question and should have clarified in my post:

I wouldn't replace my current working one while it's still fine, but I bumped into a person at work who also has one and we had a discussion about this since his watch has quite a few cracks and is worn out (rough usage during free time hobby).

We were wondering if there are any "local" (broadly speaking) alternatives.

Buying products closer to you is better for the environment and if you can support a smaller business to thrive it's a bonus.

Nothing wrong buying it from CASIO, and I can highly recommend them, but in the spirit of this community and out of curiosity I wanted to ask in case someone knows :)

Ahh okay, maybe I mix Google with Apple then, or possibly even Bing Maps from Microsoft?

I can highly recommend philips oneblade. Has been one of my best product purchases in 5 years. Been really happy with it.

The only problem I have with it is that you can't use it while it's charging (it's usable in shower so that's a safety measure, and the battery lasts quite long).

Edit: I've found that single blade lasts me 3 months with almost daily use and cleaning it properly. Probably longer but I felt like 3 months was the prime amount with my usage to change.

Hey and welcome! This community kinda expects top level comments to be submissions to the post request, mind giving us a drawing? :)

don't be shy about your drawing skills, even if it'd be your first ever drawing! Can be stickfigures, abstract, whatever!

Ah sorry don't misunderstand me: I am fine with two communities co-existing and I also was eager to add buyfromeu to our sidebar if people want specifically EU centric community.

The biggest problem I personally had was that I couldn't reach the mod of this community to discuss. But you have now taken over the moderation so that's good!

I do generally agree with Blaze that lemmy has a bit of an issue with splintered communities while it is small still, but I'm also fine with this community staying and appreciate you volunteering to mod it and keep it active.
