And now the finals voting will be annoying again. It will see a big portion of pro-israel / anti-israel voting.

While nemo was cool last year it seemed like people, especially the jury, voted for "Swiss neutrality" instead of actual contestants. I know the voting is often for a country rather than the entry (like neighbours voting for neighbours), but last year I felt like contestants didn't really enjoy a voting for entries much.

I'm really pissed that Israel is part of eurovision. Them actively conducting a genocide and on top of it all using eurovision as a tool for propaganda is disgusting.

I'm horrified at what the current israeli contestant had to go through during the terrorist attack on the festival and don't want to downplay her experience and I'm sorry for her, but she is being used as a tool to make a country that is doing crimes against humanity look better.

Honestly this has crossed my mind several times as another reason why people don't put the phone on their ear. You might be on to something!

I'm convinced people forgot that our huge handheld devices are supposed to still be mobile phones that you are supposed to put against your ear when you call someone.

Exactly. So many companies wanted to make it look like "this annoying popup is here because of EU. We want to offer you a big fat ALLOW ALL to make it simple for you.. Don't mind what it means.. If you wanna know you are welcome to read this bullshit generic law text that probably has mistakes in it but you wouldn't know because you just want to read some small text snippet here and don't want to get into it".

I've decided to finish the books we were going through in the course by myself, and then register to the next course once I'm done :)

Also bought some extra exercise books!

But yeah that was the last intensive course I'll take next to a full-time job. Was a bit exhausting going to a course for 3hrs everyday after work..

The comments can be bit negative on hacker news. I, for one, am incredibly excited and happy about the community fork.
