Glad you found what you were looking for and happy to help! :)

I think it started in the cat community and spread elsewhere, but couldn't come up with a better query, sorry :( enjoy the voids!

Edit: and also some people have deleted their original accounts with all of their posts, so could be that we are missing the true numbers of voidcatposting incident

The biggest catposting incident on lemmy was when people started "void posting" in cat community on lemmy.world.

Black cat images made it to the top of /all for several days. Here's the list of those images (lemmy search with cat community and with keyword "void"):

https://lemmy.world/search?q=void&type=Posts&listingType=All&communityId=29&page=1&sort=Old

They don't have as many upvotes but a year-two back lemmy didn't have as much activity as now. Still made it to /all

Edit: edited query to sort by "old" to get the oldest ones first

Edit2: sorry, got stuck looking at the voidposts and realized the biggest incident was 7 months ago, so need to scroll a bit down with that query but you should also see the voidpost memes :)

Ouch! Hope that gets fixed up!

Customizing the icons of apps is a small but nice way to allow phone customization for non-powerusers, so I very much like that :)

Fun idea. Also signal allows you to change the app icon to quite a few other, predefined icons.

Appreciate it! Last request (if you didn't delete your lemm.ee account):

If possible, would you mind locking this community (only mod can post) and put up a permanent sticky post that points to new community?

It will stay up like that on all the other instances that have a local copy of this community and would be nice for new fediverse users :)

That's the kind of commenting I saw from slrpnk users as well!

Happy cakeday :)

My home country has a general guideline for all the inhabitants: keep stocked up on emergency food water + some other stuff enough that you can survive 3 day power, water and other outages.

Been living with that in mind for a long time!

Never been under a true test though.

Ha true!

And also I love that, please keep it fun. I feel like it's truly a solarpunk instance that way :)

Maybe the two images are rail connected, hmm

Fair, but is your current phone truly made in your home country?

Fairphone is arguably doing a lot of good for the consumers and (even if its not perfect) for the environment compared to other phone manufacturers. And most people in my country need a (smart)phone.

I highly recommend the book "The Book of Hope" from Jane Goodall to truly understand "Don't let perfect be the enemy of good" when it comes to climate action.

Edit: added full title of the book

Yeah I really hope so too!!
