It's still heavy, awkward, easily moved by the wind, and very high up. It has a lot of tension on all the springs, so taking it apart would probably cause things to collapse unexpectedly.

There's still a lot of stuff up there to work around that would be expensive to replace if damaged, so you still need to be a little careful.

Just a mess no matter how you look at it.

Sure, but the catch is they'll never be able to come into the US legally again.

Sounds great for the next 4 years, but the winds change. In 20, 30, 50 years this place is going to be completely different, but you'll still have a deport on your record.

It's quite a gamble for $1,000.

I loved how when I was a kid, the clocks weren't in sync. They were up to 5 minutes off between them.

Grandfathering requires firearm registration. They did the same thing with the fully automatic firearms ban in the 80's. Now the kids and grandkids of people who previously legally owned firearms have to make a decision. Some of these firearms would be worth 6 figures or more if they were registered, and some have significant historical value, but instead it's a serious felony to own them and they had no say in how it ended up in this state.

Illinois also very recently did a semi auto registration, and a lot of folks did not comply, because they believed that is just the first step to confiscation. Now these people's family are going to have the same problem in a few years.

Just because there is a grandfather clause, doesn't mean it's going to automatically make everyone law abiding. And one person's decision is going to impact their family for generations.

Also, McDonald's has deep pockets. If they don't like how they are represented, it doesn't matter if you're correct legally.

There is an API that you can call to sync Kobo e-readers with calibre.

https://jccpalmer.com/posts/setting-up-kobo-sync-with-calibre-web/

It just depends on if this would work with your current thoughts on how your app works.

They believe that if they stop making war machines, they're going to lose the capability to make it when they need it.

I would be interested in something that can sync with Calibre-Web

Don't worry, they'll increase prices and cut quality even more to make up for the difference in lost profit.

Topeak Mountain Morph Pump

It's fine, not amazing. You have to unscrew the end to switch it between Schrader and Presta, but it's usually just a one time thing to set it up for your bike.

No gauge. It's a pretty smooth pump with a lot of air per stroke.

Seems good for the price, but if you spend a little more you can get one with a pressure gauge on it.

There are laws about how they can campaign. Once she makes an official statement about running for president, it really limits how she can raise money or talk about the campaign.

Even if she's 100% decided to run, it would make no sense to confirm it until around January 2028.
