From what I remember it start a little slow, but it starts to pick up around half way of the first season and it's pretty consistenly great after that. It has been while since I rewatched it though

I don't think it's just "time to cook", pretty sure the devs having actual passion behind it also helps a lil bit.

For Igorrr I would say the last two are my favorites as well, but there's some brilliant stuff on the older albums too.

I'm not familiar with Estradasphere. I checked a couple random tracks (Mekapse Yitonisa and King Crab Battle), good stuff so far. I will check out more of them

Numerous seems a little odd adjective to use for a game series that has a grand total of 3 games. For anyone wo might have played the OG and Scholar editions of DS2, do you think the OG is worth getting still?

I would say playing them with a controller feels more natural, but I did play through DS2 with keyboard and mouse as my first Dark Souls game and it was OK.
