It looks like they are an occult scholar of some fashion. Not like a maddened wizard but just a smart person who knows magic shit and knows the details behind it

I don't even use Twitter, but I find it so enraging that no regular person could so publicly fail at their job and face no repercussion. I know that rich people have a totally different set of rules and playing a totally different game, but goddamn dude. I don't know how geeks, dorks, hacker-types, and techno-wizards, can continue to think that these MEGACORP leaders are anything but fuckin' losers. "BIG TECH" and even mid-sized tech companies are full of this sort of stupidity at the top. From a labor standpoint it really sucks that individuals or teams will get the heat for this not the management level for sort of thing.

Right on! I remember seeing trailers for it and thinking "Wow, this looks great, why use all that time, obvious talent, and effort on the Joker of all characters". If it's a clone of Taxi Driver that's not a bad thing to me. At least they cloned a good movie before putting the clown make-up on.

just wish there were more split screen co-op games in the modern age :/

It’s crazy we have never had bigger better screens than we do now we need more couch co-op! When the socialist revolution happens, I will petition the the people’s office of gaming to ensure it is properly distributed in the games of the future. For real though co-op is a uniquely special and fun way to play.

Is D2 cross platform by chance?

Yes! PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation, Xbox all can shoot bad guys together

Real talk, I haven't seen "Joker". It seemed like a really good "nothing" if that makes sense. Something about it seems (at the time of release anyways) that the movie was "fine" but as a comic dork I didn't see it because I find the Joker to be a overused character. I always liked Batman's rogue's gallery but The Clown Prince of Crime (especially at the time of the release of the first film) the dude was on every cover.

Is the "Joker" worth a watch?

I'd also vote for Destiny 2, it's very much Saturday morning cartoon style action violence. Lots of laser beams and monsters rather than dudes. Also the sci-fi is more fantasy-y and make spark a little more imagination. Borderlands, while i enjoy it, I think the sci-fi spaceman laser guns flying across the solar system will be more fun than running amuck on Pandora for a 9 year old.

"Sorry, that's just not realistic"

That one is revealing to me. To me it seems they can't even push past the imaginary boundary in their own mind. To me, not even being able to imagine something different (let alone something better, even in the imaginary realm) shows how the material world has handcuffed their understanding. Good faith or bad faith it doesn't really matter, not being able to perceive the possibility of something different is so confidently stupid and morally bleak.

It's simultaneously infuriating, sad, and just kind of pathetic.

I think companies don't get ENOUGH hated from regular folks for the insane price gouging/inflation/ice cold all-American greed we see on just about every goddamn thing. Stuff as simple as bread, corn, milk and eggs (im-vegan but I know plenty of folks aren't it's whatevs), just super basics have skyrocketed.

The cult of capital truly went mask off during covid-19. They say everything go up and just stay up. I hate it so much.

On paper I don’t think LinkedIn is a bad idea. a modern take on the classified jobseekers section of a newspaper doesn’t sound like a bad thing. However, due to the current state of social media and the Internet in general, it become a nightmare.

I am trying to navigate LinkedIn, but seem completely unable to use it effectively because I don’t believe it’s designed to be used effectively. It is such a mess of ads and weird influencer content and corporate Schilling.

The job hunt these days is terrible. Even if you’re still currently employed, I cannot imagine how it’s for comrades who are also navigating the chaotic seas of unemployment.

Best of luck comrade.

Remember fellas cleaning the dishes is too important of a task to be left to a woman. It's your duty to show every woman you see that you can be A MAN and clean those dishes with your scrub daddy. Maintain a beautify and vibrant domestic life to show those woke leftists who's right!

Genndy's most underappreciated work. This show was superb.

Excellent point! The fact they want you to buy-in too because they did is just bonkers.
