Dude has a heart for the people and "earnest" I think is a great descriptor for him. Just seems like a cool dude who cares about seeing the world better. I dig that about him.

I kinda expected to get a bad take out of at least one pod

I'm actually really glad to see that pretty much every leftie or vaguely left person I listen to, watch, or read has been pro-Palestine. Also all my real life comrade been actually been going to organized events. Pretty glad everyone is onboard.

Rev Left Radio I think has done a great amount of coverage of Palestine for quite a while.

Terrifying. The cold unfeeling death by an industrial tool is sadly an ever recurring story in labor history. This to me says that testing for the software and systems and the environment it’s in for these sorts of this thing needs to ironclad on safety. Testing and safety are sadly undervalued because they aren’t “profit generating”.

It’s a fun game. One of my Discord friends gave me a code for the early access and it’s pretty dope. Feels like it’s straight out of 90’s in a good way

I still think about this an how goddamn awful and fash-y it overtly is.

Fuckin exactly! The clickbait stuff just bubbles up from the ooze of losers. I hate that this stuff spreads so far so quickly so easily. You’d think that clickbait would have been dealt with in the late 2000s along side pop-ups and click hi-jacking, but no. Outrage sells so the eldritch horror that is the algorithm recommends it indefinitely. It’s so stupid it literally fosters the environment of harassment and potential violence YouTube claims to be against

Fuckin’ exactly dude!

Excellent example! Good videos, interesting insights on comic stories and their history.

And you know these guys are all busting to rule34 models of these characters anyways. I hate G*mers.

I actively had to "Do not recommend this channel" on I think six different recommendations when watching a review for new Hellboy game. I'm a big ol' comic fan and I'm very saddened that there is more "Anti-Woke™©" comic content out there than content that just talks about comics. There are some decent folks out there putting out critical thoughts (most of it really damn good) about comics/comic games but is just so stupid this sort of stuff always bubbles up to the top.

It's really frustrating to to know you can get 235K eyeballs on some half-assed low-brow poorly edited video. I'm sure the whole heart of his supposed argument is just "Miles is black and women exist". It's really tiring how much mileage they can get from such a low bar of thought. I know the algorithm feeds off outrage, outrage in response to outrage, and of course drama orbiting outrage, it's just kinda sad to me. It's a very game-able system and just makes discussions around comics, anime, and games worse.

Also this dude is called Synthetic man, with a Agent K head photo-shopped onto a V body. I'm sure the irony of his profile picture is utterly lost on him. I hate dweeb so goddamn much man. They ruin liking things way more than the people whom they claim are ruining the things they like.

I love dork-shit, but these fucking losers are just the worse. I need to get a permit carry a locker around and be authorized to push them into it, give them nuggies, and wedgies.

When he won in 2008 I was a big lib and even though I wasn't 100% on the Obama train because he did a bit of a slick pol patina - I was very hopeful. Hope is just a four letter word but I only learned that in retrospect.

As weeks turned to months turned to years - I didn't grow disappointed but very disappointed in him. I should have left liberalism around early 2011 when I had read enough about him to know that when he said "Change has come to America,"

I think a lot of people (me included) have that origin story. It's really a shame to be honest.

I know Obama was BIG reason I started looking into leftism, in particular the black radical tradition. As grow into adulthood I would honestly say that my left turn came from that broken sense of "Hope and Change™". When reading, listening, and learning about leftist thought I discovered that "Hope and Change" are in fact real (no ™ needed lea-happy ) ) but can't be found in liberalism and liberals like Obama. Also the real "Hope and Change" are hard, like SUPER hard, but they are at least truly and genuinely real.

It's so frustrating that this dude is so slick, cool, and genuinely charismatic but all in service to the status quo. A status quo that of course upholds the very systems and institutions that make neoliberalism so ugly when you chip away the stale paint.
