I really think it's just solider finessing their way to go an anime expo on Uncle Sam's dime.

Rodents are cool.

Anyone who is promoting literacy (celebrity or otherwise) should be venerated. Reading core to development of a society, also new ideas make way for new ways of understanding. New understandings I think leads to more empathy which is rad.

Also tran kiddos need as much escapism they can get. Trans teens to be reading for real.

"uknowhatimsayin¿" Is still in my daily rotation. Just a damn good album.

(Check) Who you think you're dealin' with?

The flow Chinese arithmetic (Style)

Trippin' if they get real, nasty like black licorice (Uh-huh)

Always on some different shit, your whole style is impotent

I ignore a whore like an email from LinkedIn (Huh)

I put you further in that hole that you sleepin' in (Yeah)

Mixin' Ripple, listening to Minnie Riperton (Yeah)

Detrimental to health, lyrics is quintessential (Style)

One of the best times of my life was back in 2015 when we managed to get a 20 person league of blood bowl going with friends down the pub. It went on for nearly the entire year. People who weren't involved were initially laughing at our obsession with it, and subsequently got extremely annoyed because it was basically the only thing any of us ever talked about.

You're truly living the your best life. That sounds rad as hell! How did the bracket turn out?

I really hope this is a rope-a-dope to lean heavily into the Lovecraftian horror of "iamsorryjon"

Pack it up boyz. We can't game anymore, gaming is over. We reading books now, doing miniature gaming, or table-top roleplaying. Video games are officially cornball shit now.

This is really upsetting. Some days I feel like the Prims from William Gibson’s “The Peripheral” had the right idea. This modern post-industrial age of endless consumption is gonna kill us all

You don't even really hear "teammates" or "employees" anymore. It's "associates" and "Individual Contributor". There is no such thing as a team, we are all just individual and discrete nodes in a collection, but no teams. It's just so slimey that corporations have utterly sandblasted the very idea of teams away from the modern language. Everything is so individuated even things like workplace safety is your responsibility. To me it really shows how utterly alienated we are at work, even alienated from our work. Job hopping is the logical outcome of making everyone a team of 1.

It's a good one. I watched during COVID-19 lockdown. The visual style is took a bit to click for me, but when it did i was all-in. Great watch.

They were under Nader. Now I don't know what the Greens stand for anymore.

Fair point. I guess I'd just be happy with any non-"Covertly or Overtly Reactionary party" at this point.

I know the Green Party is kind of the loser-dork party, but at least their values are closest to my own. It's a shame they get like single digit percentage of votes, but I wouldn't feel bad if a US Green Party won an election anywhere. I'm sure they would be annihilated or assimilated by political machine, but yeah I could rock with a green party candidate.
