I personally turned off the road width data as I always have to cross the roads and it both feels awkward and is just not that practical imo. But you can use any other measuring app if any exist to get the width and manually put in.

I'll check out iNaturalist! Thanks!

Tomtom Amigo also uses traffic data! Although their dataset is ofc smaller than google maps as less people use it. (Still not FOSS, but at least not google)

Every Door works on iPhone

Edit: someone told me https://organicmaps.app/ also has editing functions and it has an iOS app

Unsure, in theory it should be possible as long as the data is on OSM. I do know Mapy.cz is regarded as a great map software although idk how the navigation/biking part. I personally use Mapy.cz for anything not car related (but barely bike atm and haven't needed walking directions as of yet) and tomtom amigo for car navigation.

Just checked at random spots in the netherlands and indeed a lot of roads are missing speed limit data. This again is a great reason to contribute where possible!

Yep, best to verify the data either in person or at least via their website instead (if they have one)

As far as I read this is more stuff I'd do on desktop than mobile. But thanks for sharing for who finds this useful!

Enjoy! Same here! You can also contribute on mapy by doing reviews and uploading photos there!

I believe this is against their ToS and being caught doing that would mean all that data just gets removed again. But I'm no legal expert
