It may be worth getting a weatherproof electrical box. You can get ones designed to just hold an extension lead, and that should provide enough safety without making it too cumbersome

I've been using DuckDuckGo a lot more recently and it's been pretty good. I've tried a few others but not really found one I love yet

It being between the rails probably makes it easier to automate most of the installation, cleaning, and removal at the end of their life.

IIRC it wasn't even a protest, it was a vigil for Gaza, so it was an act of remembrance for those who are suffering. Which makes it an even stranger thing to get fired for.

I really don't understand people's issue with vegans, even the really vocal ones. I'm not vegan, cheese is life, but I get that they are well meaning and ultimately are wanting to change the world for the better.
