One of the things you could do as a new Linux user is to try out some support questions with your favorite search engine. Try 'catchyos my headset mic is not working' or 'nobara how do I change my background wallpaper every 15 minutes' or ' <real problem you've had the past 2 years>'.
This approach will give you an realistic view how much support you will have when you're dealing with an actual problem.
I keep hearing this 15% tariff from EU to US. What's EUs counter tariff to from US to EU. 15%? 10%? 0%? Wtf.
I'm going against the grain and say I love watching someone else play the game they're good at. And I will provoke a bit and say it's the same as watching someone pro playing football versus playing it yourself.
I cannot play horror games at all but I will consume every and all playthroughs of known good horror games. Then again I would never watch someone play crpg or mmo, the games I'm actually good at.
I just love to see some high level rocket league game play or trackmania or Fortnite or a Elden Ring challenge run versus playing myself those games. I have limited time but want to experience many games and I feel watching them is almost as good as playing them without actually spending thousands of hours getting good.

Awesome read. I bought the game few weeks ago and the tutorial was a huge letdown. I'm glad I took time and played the game instead of trying to understand the tutorial which made the game look so complicated and confusing. I hope they remake it someday and summarize it instead of overexplaining.

I started Yakuza 0 on my PC and Excavation of Hob's Barrow on my deck.
Yakuza side missions are fun but the combat feels too repetitive. Maybe it gets better once you unlock more skills but I doubt it.
My most played game was Brotato. It just plays so well and one run lasts about 20mins which is perfect for me when I don't want to commit too much time.
My most surprising game is probably a Trackmania which took a while to get working because of the Ubisoft launcher not playing nice with Linux but then again there are so many guides to get it working it's not that big of a deal. For me I had to change the wlan MTU packet from 1500 to under 1000 and all was well.
Outside tinkering I'd suggest Heaven's Vault. Adventure/Puzzle game where you decipher an unknown language from glyphs. You can quit and next time you pick the game it will give a summary where you left last time storywise - such an awesome quality of life for short gaming bursts
100% not judging anyone who prefers mobas or MMOs. I just feel that as a patient gamer (with a huge backlog) I can't no more try or play another one.
The time sink alone and psychological methods like daily missions/battlepasses/FOMOs they use to make me get hooked just now days make me want to skip all of those kind of games even when I'm really into the game/idea.
I can experience 10 single player games (that I already have) instead of one GaaS game. I'm happier this way.
I've done exactly as you said. I'm doing them one in every two years and I'm having fun. I don't think I've ever paid more than 5 euros for one game. They are the kind of low effort easy fun but that's exactly what I want. I have my hard games and series for when I want that type of experience
Why not both and add a few more. Make the game randomize which attire the duck has from a limited pool of costumes and force a change maybe as often as after every save/load/level.
Totally unnecessary but silly feature. If there is any mention of the duck in the environment/narration you can add jokes about ducks being indecisive.
