I really like it. But I also think that it's not a great idea to use colors similar to Reddit, it's best if Lemmy (or each instance) finds its original design for those

Most of the socials that exist on the fediverse are still in beta or even alpha, it seems quite a bit too much to ask for complete federation out of the box. Mastodon gained traction last year, just think of how Facebook or Instagram were in their last first years of development

The Fediverse needs improvements, of course. But it also needs time and resources, and only with patience and coordination (and interest and money) we will get to a perfect working point :)

What you want is sorting by new, in "subscribed" or even "all"

Rip I wish I saw this earlier

[–] Krusty@feddit.it 1 points 2 years ago

Yes it should, I don't know if there's a faster way though, sorry

There already is a question similar to this. You can find lots of ideas there :)

I'm not sure but is there a bug of buttons not showing under comments in the inbox? I can't manage to open comments in their context

I'm not sure if there's a better way but:

  1. go here: https://the-federation.info/platform/73
  2. bottom page > open an instance you want to federate with
  3. Choose a random community of that instance
  4. Copy and paste the link of that community in your instance search bar and subscribe
  5. Wait a few minutes and you should be federated with that instance

If you open browse.feddit.de you'll see that it's not difficult to find the biggest/most popular one

You're welcome! :D
