okay system shock 2 kind of way too addicting. in the sense of like, constantly going, "just one more thing". it's also fun just like moving fast and smacking robots on the head with a crystal stick shard thingy. or with the laser sword

I'm playing system shock 2, and oh my god. It's neat they have a feature where you can pull yourself onto stuff after jumping. Like pulling up yourself on a ledge.

I feel the same with like with reading it on a screen, or listening to an audio format. I been using a copy of Das Kapital from 'Fingerprint! Publishing'. It has all three volumes. Except like, the text is tiny and a lot of pages are dense. Sometimes the pages are transparent that you can see the text on the other side kind of sort of. Not entirely. It's hard to describe but its still legible. But its a little difficult to read, esp. in not good lighting. Thankfully those pages that get like that aren't much.

But it does have all three volumes and it was pretty cheap and it's been good enough so far. It also seems to use the version that the marxists org website uses. But it was like 20-30$ around there

screm2 We're getting close to finishing volume 1! and part 8 of das kapital has very short chapters

I think so? Chapter 15 of Das Kapital Vol 1.talks a lot of machinery and modern industry and section five "Section 5 - The Strife Between Workman and Machine" might be what you're looking for? I'm not sure, I'm like on three hours of sleep right now. But I think Marx def talks about some of this stuff at least in that chapter in general. Either there or in like later chapters in volume 1

Oh yea, I'm not like saying the idiom wrong. The reason why that idiom came up or like, why I was reminded of it due to abstinence. Is just mainly like. That distortion, that disguising or concealing of stuff? Like the hiding of relations in a way? Except like maybe not the best? Since that abstinence theory is wrong while that one idiom is right in some ways.

weight/body stuffI was looking at a mirror and It's pretty disturbing seeing my ribs from the side move outwards and then inwards, expanding and contracting. It just.. it feels weird? Like I know I'm skinny, but like. It just weird seeing all those lower ribs expand when taking a breath before contracting when exhaling from the side. And like good portion of the lower rib cage being visible. It just like. I dunno. disturbing. weird. and now I feel weird and can't stop thinking about it

It reminds me a little of how the bones in the forearm twist.
