Been playing again and already twice today I had some coop pains that made me wish the PC version had voice chat (the PlayStation version does, but not PC for some damn reason).

First, I am like level 138 or something and I got summoned to Murkwater Cave. Like... Bruh. Even if it's NG+7, you should be able to spank Patches easy at this level.

The second was someone summoning outside Fia's location at Deeproot Depths but before they had progressed her quest to fight the dragon. I could only convey what needed to be done by pointing at Fia, then the grace, and severing out. I wish I could have actually just told them they need to exhaust her dialogue and rest and/or quit, restart, exhaust D's dialogue, rest and/or quit again and restart then summon us for the boss.

I'm also now wondering if Nightreign has some kind of communication system beyond just gestures. 🤔

IMO the worst feeling is when your finger goes through the toilet paper and you end up going up your own poopy ass. 😖

This is more for my console friends out there; maybe even Playstation specific because I haven't so much as touched an Xbox since the 360.

Do you prefer Performance Mode or Quality Mode? I'm really curious to know if anyone even uses Quality Mode. Whatever you use, what kinds of games are you usually playing, and why do you prefer the mode you prefer?

I am 100℅ Performance Mode, personally. The only thing I could really play in Quality Mode without being bothered by the low FPS is like Civilization or a card game. If I have to actually move a character around, I can not stand for less than 60fps. I will happily sacrifice everything that makes a game look good to make it run smooth as butter. But I do tend to like action games and especially PVP. Every millisecond matters.

And if so, are they unique to the animals they live on or is it pretty much the same as ours?

Anyway... Got a DM from a user about an hour ago, but when I try to reply I am given an error that the user does not exist. Their profile is viewable. They just messaged me. I know they are active on the site, as I see them posting pretty regularly... Not sure why I can't DM them back tho.

Growing up, I didn't really question why this band would be played along side Nirvana, Bush, Soundgarden, Linkin Park, etc. because my radio station of choice was not just grunge, but also "adult alternative." So it would play pop shit, too, sometimes.

But I still, to this day, often find U2 listed among grunge artists, or their songs get played on grunge playlists. The fuck? How is this shit grunge? It doesn't fit in any way! It doesn't have the sound, it doesn't have the style, shit it doesn't even have the same emotional resonance. It's happy and hopeful.

Last week I met a guy through Barq (that actually was real and not a bot). We met up, had dinner, spent some time together and it was fun. He invited me over the other day, also, and had invited me to spend the night tonight.

But then all day yesterday he didn't respond or talk, which got me a bit upset and worried he was just gonna ghost me today. Well, they didn't ghost me but they did have something come up last minute and had to cancel.

I'm pretty upset. But I don't know if I should be. I have a few mental issues, including BPD and being on the autism spectrum so I don't really feel like I understand people, overthink everything, get anxious and have trouble dealing with rejection.

At the same time, they clearly indicated they are in a polycule relationship and have another boyfriend. I've been in similar situations before and most of the time, it's just a fucking game and I'm being played.

I seriously just wanna die rn. 🥺

You, a perfectly healthy adult human, go to the doctor and have them put a second heart in your chest that is connected to the circulatory system with your original heart.

What would be the effects of this? Could it even be done in this hypothetical situation at all?

So I've been on BARQ since discovering it a few years ago (roughly a few months after it launched) and had a few random conversations through it but never did much on it since there wasn't that many people on it period, let alone within distance of me to be useful as it's intended dating purposes.

All of a sudden, though, I am getting hella random friend requests on Discord all saying they got my link from BARQ and talking in a way I am all too familiar with seeing from scams on Tinder and other mainstream dating apps. Like, the first time I started talking to them and it seemed normal at first but then I mentioned getting diagnosed with autism a few years ago and they respond with "I hope you get well soon." So I ask if they are local and they say "Totally. What about you?"

Am I just that socially fucked up or are these not normal responses to these things? What the fuck do you mean am I also local? How do you not know that autism isn't just something you have for a few days like a cold?

Let's say I took a bunch of different characters from various media; a head, 2 arms, 2 legs and a torso, glued them together and then traced over to create a more homogenized image... Is that a new thing? A remix? Or ripping other's work off?

I've just had this idea for a while (wanna try making my fursona from photos of a dog for the head and my own body for the body) and got curious if this proposed technique was done using others' material would be a violation or if it would be more like a remix.

I just randomly remembered something about Steam coming to PlayStation, in a capacity where you could just access your chats/groups and upload content to your media center (not playing/streaming games at all) which made me wonder why it's not still a thing, but I can't find a single fuckin' thing about this... Did... Did I just make this shit up subconsciously? 🤨
