When I was in highscool I read a book called "Why We're Liberals". I wanted to get into politics because as a queer kid in the rural south US I at least knew enough about politics to know the conservatives weren't on my side. And let me tell you that book was the most pusilanimous swill I've ever had the displeasure of reading. It was basically just the author describing problems like gay rights but then whining that it's not important enough to do anything about it right now, that there were much more important problems to also ignore. I swear that book must have been an op because even as a child I immediately realized neolib politics was never going to help people and in the absence of any alternative I just gave up thinking about changing things. The frustrating thing about liberals when they say "we'll get to it eventually, you can't expect to have your rights overnight" is its true, they act like they need to tell queer people that like we don't already know. But the answer to that isn't to sit on your thumbs, if something is difficult and will take a lot of time that means you should start working on it now instead of later. They dangle these carrots to get you to vote for them but actually doing anything isn't political expedient for them.

Didn't get to see family or feast today. Really hope things work out for Christmas though, I've got a Rudolph outfit together and I want to see my sisters again soon because we live so far away from eachother. I did get a lot of drawing done today, so that's cool.

Just getting it out of my system here so I don't say it to my friends and family: Fuck America, unlimited genocide, 10,000 9/11s to Silicone Valley, I hope the Bay Area becomes a smoking crater, a century of humiliation to all.

Yeah, I mean the container it came in wasn't resealable so I don't get it. But it does say on the package to only take half to make sure it's not too strong for you.

No, not the cool one, the one that Tumblr fell in love with from the 2012 movie.

Centrists in the 1800s were probably like, "Well I'm not far left, I don't want to abolish the oligarchy, but I'm also not far right because unlike them I at least hope we get a good king next time."

Yeah. I think because I feel like I've finally started to live and given a chance to grow up I finally fear death. I didn't used to, I didn't actively want to but the concept didn't scare me because even when I wasn't depressed my life sucked. My life doesn't suck now so only now do I actually fear losing it.

Speaking of high. It's weird that debate bros say you lost the debate if you got mad, but getting mad is a thing MEN do so if anything if you ever gotten mad in an argument that means you have superior T.

I didn't realize you weren't supposed to take the whole edible all at once and had a bad trip. And ever since then I feel like if I get high I'm reaching into that bad trip. Whereas before I only had good trips. But now it's like since I had the bad trip I don't have as good trips as before and they get closer to being bad than before.

Hard men create weak knees for me.

I had to take a picture with my phone because Paramount+ has some anti-DRM measure that doesn't let you take screencaps.
