It's not that they don't exist it's that artists/producers aren't focusing on the album experience as much. The album used to be the thing, and the single was the bait to lure you into purchasing it. Now, the single is more likely to be the thing.

Oh wow even better! So this is great for people with four CDs, three CDs, maybe even two!

Not bad honestly

Wow, that's very helpful for uh, holding... four CDs I guess.

This was pretty clear in 2016, glaringly obvious in 2021, and Trump himself explicitly said being a dictator on day one was a goal in 2024.

But I'm sure another think piece won't hurt!

My pleasure! It kind of reminds me of Snow Crash in that it's really fun and adventurous but also made me think deep thoughts.

It's primary use is to help scared people live within their delusions and avoid facing reality. Be it advertising or propaganda.

I've heard Fascism described primarily as an aesthetic that everything else within it, including reality, flows from. GenAI makes it a lot easier to apply the aesthetic to whatever uncomfortable reality a scared lonely person may desire.

Cory Doctorow has a novel "Walkaway" which is basically "what if society but FOSS". It's really good!

To answer your question, while it has a lot in common with anarchism I don't think anyone benefits from trying to fit it into a predefined political box. It's something new.
