Doesn’t matter if the pinna is bypassed or not. 3d audio (soundstage) requires both ears to receive signal from the same point source. The time delay between the two ears receiving the signal is the crux of the entire premise. Headphones inherently defeat that entirely by having the entire ear subjected to one side of the audio.

Ergo, headphones do not provide any 3d audio or soundstage.

If you’d like a bit of a read, the character portrayed there is named Rosie the Riveter.

Wikipedia - Rosie the Riveter

It’s definitely a wartime relic, but the history behind it is very interesting!

You say that like it’s a bad thing? I prefer not to dust off my slide rule everytime I want to know how cold it is out.

That’s why I used to do, but I was given a reusable K-Cup filter thing that just holds ground beans and is washable/reusable. All of the benefits of quick coffee and none of the waste!

Could you cut it as a poor man stealing?

Last time I checked (during the installation of Fedora 39), HDR support was nearly non-existent in Linux, with the only options being some hacky experimental support for gaming via Gamescope. Has that changed in the last 6 months? It’s the only thing holding me back from jumping to Linux these days.

Not to argue in favor of eating dogs or anything, but I think posting a source would really help the claim you’re making.
