It doesn't excuse them.
It does matter why they hold those opinions, unless you think its a good idea to not give them voting rights, in which case.... You have some interesting opinions.

Its the us slavery system. The laptops will be returned whenever something happens to some prisoner(s) that gets successfully sold as tragic to the masses. I hope there is some young attractive white mother who was taking classes on the laptops and is about to finish her sentence, or else they're gonna be waiting a while.
Nah, the voters at best are uneducated and bandwagoners led by cheap group emotional manipulation (which is much easier to do to someone lacking an education)
Remember everyone, we've gotta live with these people after Trump and Biden go to live on the farm. We don't have the numbers to simplistically oppress them (wouldn't work for long if we did), or the desire to wipe them out (which, why would we want to become them). So we better start prepping ourselves for continuing life as equal citizens with people who voted for Trump.
(Especially if we're ever gonna get enough people on board with turning against actual ruiling class UwU)
I know exactly what you were replying to. I'm saying your idea is not one that I think to be good. But, I disagree with opinions I see all the time without feeling the need to point out why. My sarcasm, and my bothering to reply, come from the same place.
Setting aside the conversation on what the US should or shouldn't do, your comment directly implied that the Hatian people, and their peers, which we'll give the charitable interpretation of neighoring island countries, to be less civilized, less complex, and not as industry heavy as Japan/Europe post-ww2. I don't find that to be the language or implication of an opinion that is on good footing to say the least. Also, that you viewed those to be reasons that would make the task of intervention difficult.
I'm in agreement with you about one thing, doing a good job of stabilizing the hatian future is riddled with difficulty and challenges. Where we differ, is that the idea that the US (and other western governments) aren't already highly involved/responsible for the current situation. The question is not "Should the US get involved now with how much violence there is etc". The question is actually "Should the US continue to shirk its responsibilities to the hatian people for their hand in the hatian government that has all but collapsed?"
We aren't jumping in or staying out, we're either staying silent or a stepping up.
...The US had a moment of glory when it won WW2 and then rebuilt both Japan and Europe into world class economic powers. Of course, those were highly civilized, sophisticated, and industrialized states and so America's job was easier. Places like Afghanistan, Haiti, and most of Africa...not so much.
Sooo much ewww.
How in the world, I wonder, did a beautiful island become suddenly swarmed and populated with an essentially non-homogeneous group of people from across the ocean? Surely their "uncivilized and unsophisticated" nature wouldn't have allowed them to cross such a vast expanse. Such a mystery!
Any Western government would be crazy to set foot in countries like that. Maybe send some humanitarian aid, but otherwise stay the fuck out. Let their cultural peers help them out.
You're right, it's best that outisders remain totally uninvolved and let nature take its course amoungst this anthropologically typical country and neighbors.... Well, I guess yeah, we can pitch in some goodfeels and be a tiny lifeline for a limited to few, after all, we gotta sleep at night.
I can't believe I forgot to mention that in the post, thank you.
Yes, Hygiene is crucial and can go a long way to preventing infections surrounding substance use! Not just hygiene of one's own body, but their environment as well. And depending on the substance and/or method of use, keep yourself and your things clean could be all you really end up needing.
However, that's unfortunately almost never the case when considering all substances and usages. Also, keep in mind "Trust nobody" means others' hygiene as well. For anything considered a "hard" drug, then good hygiene is only part of the equation. I may be forgetting an outlier, but basically, if we aren't talking alcohol/marijuana that isn't shared/left unattended, then other risks not avoided through basic hygiene become a reality.
Some, not all, and not every piece of the battery either. Lots of plastics go into the production of batteries, and almost none is recycled despite batteries not having the general worries associated with recycled plastics.
Probably not without using that information to attain additional details. Things like address, family member's names, job, can all be obtained without leaving their computer for almost no cost (or free, but with less accurate results sometimes).
After that, what they could do is really up to how much effort they put in, contrasted with how much effort you put in to preventing. A swat team could show up at your door with little effort on their part. Or if they wanted to go through the effort of social engineering/dumpster diving/remote hacking their way into enough info to steal your identity.
2FA with strong passwords at a bare minimum. And not "strong" according to the website's account creation page, actually strong (which is itself a moving target to define, and is always in debate).
Any loved ones who may have potential access to sensitive information should also be prepared similarly to avoid some of the more catch-all scams such as phishing.
Cause I can... Like literally, because i have the ability, the technology, and (somehow) the education, to look at anything at all that happened before the oldest person alive's birthday....
Its not a fucking endless awesome orgy, but damnit I like not having to huddle with all you weirdos just for warmth in some damp cave.
But it was HER year!
Stop with the fucking polls... Ffs did anyone learn anything
Back in june-july, I used a screen tapping tool + boost to go through and change every comment i could edit with generic type fill, then waited something like 2 weeks in hopes that all of their servers would update to the new text, and then used the same app to delete each comment and post, and then the account itself. Its about all I could think to do.
