If there's not already lines to an area, you'd have to really try pretty hard to even find enough older/slower cabeling to justify the install costs alone. The only reason we don't already have fiber everywhere is because they don't wanna pay to dig... Despite being heavily subsided with the understanding that they should already be doing that.

I've only been on E for a month, so changes are still young, but my hands have always been and still are quite masculine. Since I have some callouses and scars from work and injuries, I'm not sure that my hands will ever look feminine in the traditional sense. It used to be a large source of dysphoria for me, but I've come to realize that my hobbies (woodworking basically) mean that I just have butch hands on will hopefully be an otherwise femme-body. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I promise you, not a single person pushing this ban through currently is doing so out of any modicum of support for either side. And any claims to such end were an afterthought. The intelligence agencies, their financial benefactors, and lawmakers behind it are only seeking to expand their powers. If Israel and Palestine were out back sucking each other off right now, then we'd be hearing some excuse involving Ukraine, or hell, maybe we'd come out and point at China directly.

Now the first data of their kind show a link between these microplastics and human health. A study of more than 200 people undergoing surgery found that nearly 60% had microplastics or even smaller nanoplastics in a main artery1. Those who did were 4.5 times more likely to experience a heart attack, a stroke or death in the approximately 34 months after the surgery than were those whose arteries were plastic-free.

This is cause for more study, and we should have already all been avoiding them. But this is nowhere near causational proof. What if microplastics are just associated with less healthy foods, or happen to concentrate in waterways that trend towards impoverished communities the same way air pollution does?

I'm terrified of plastics, and stupid already, but even I can see that this headline just isn't close to factual.
