I don't know why our poor shorty races are so under-represented, Larian did a fantastic job on their models! Compared to male elves and tieflings, the dwarf and gnome selection is vastly superior. And gnome racials are absolutely crazy, who wouldn't want advantage on all the most debilitating saves!?

If by rolling I loose characters I'm invested in and my only options are 3 Charisma rolls on my 10 Charisma character, each with a 15 skillcheck? You bet I'm save scumming the fuck out of that! Otherwise I'll use Inspiration and only save scum if I have both proficiency and a high ability score and the dice decide they don't feel like rolling above 3 today.

All of them combined, my total never went above 3GB with them limited to 10 each. The save files did get smaller in later game as inaccessible areas from previous acts get purged.

You can change it at any point, but if you don't care about your saves getting into the 10+GB in size then leave it.

The game has an insanely high number of saves it keeps by default, 20 for both auto saves and quick saves. I reduced it to 10 for both as I never need to go that far back (or if I want the option I just make a manual save), that alone will cut your Steam Cloud size in half.
EDIT - The number is actually 25, even higher than I remembered.

Watch the video and then decide if you are still excited about it. The one video when they announced the power supply test lab is one of the many ones called out for misinformation in this very video. With their standard of information being what is it, no data they provide should be used for any serious purchase decisions.

LTT has been an entertainment channel with a drop of info for a while now, their content is pretty much only suitable as background filler while eating food. Their thumbnails and titles are also unusable without extensions to decipher them (shoutout to DeArrow from Ajay Ramachandran). For the actual good tech info you to go Hardware Unboxed or the very creator of this video.

Looks much better than the Teaser they released before, that thing was a massive disappointment. I wish they shown some actual gameplay but at least they nailed the atmosphere of the colony and the Old Camp pretty well. Here's hoping the Polish voice acting will be as legendary as in the original!

Yeah, I'm not keen on this change. Will reserve final judgement until I actually play the game and we see the changes to the Guardian (the dream character) they made, but it felt a lot easier to "fall to temptation" when it was just an almost guaranteed beneficial dialogue option that you could pick instead of literally shoving more brain eating parasites into your eye.

I respect their option, but disagree with it completely. I think accidentally triggering a cutscene with the wrong character, stumbling through it quickly only to reload a save and trigger it with your player character instead feels a lot worse than just always triggering the cutscene with your player character, even if it "breaks immersion" by teleporting them slightly (unless they are really far away/this is an Origin specific interaction). I'm not asking for the complex task of being able to switch characters mid dialogue, I understand how that can prove nightmarish to implement, just let me pick the default character to always initiate all interactions and I'll be happy.

I bet you in a month we'll see a mod that completely addresses this issue and we will all be left wondering why Larian didn't fix it during the entirety of this game's development. I can't believe it would be that hard to just make it so only the character on top of the party list can interact and the others are just treated as NPCs and don't initiate cutscenes/dialogue (or if they do, just swap their positions with the player character, I will take abrupt body swaps over save scumming to get the right character to initiate dialogue any day) yet here we are at almost release with this still being an issue.
