I used to have nosebleeds a lot, and my mother and I did that experiment once. Didn't really work that well, because it swole up too much and streched my nose uncomfortably. I prefer rolled up toilet paper.

If you prefer being right, rather than just accepting the extra information, then sure let's go with that.

Not out yet.

Actually the 0x129 microcode was released yesterday, now it depends on which motherboard you have and how quickly they release a bios that packages it. According to Anandtech Asus and MSI did already release before Intel made the announcement. I see some for Gigabyte and Asrock too.

They said the cause was a bug in the microcode making the CPU request unsafe voltages:

Our analysis of returned processors confirms that the elevated operating voltage is stemming from a microcode algorithm resulting in incorrect voltage requests to the processor.

If the buggy behaviour of the voltage contributed to higher boosts, then the fix will cost some performance. But if the clocks were steered separately from the voltage, and the boost clock is still achieved without the overly high voltage, then it might be performance neutral.

I think we will know for sure soon, multiple reviewers announced they were planning to test the impact.

No no, I'm just saying sometimes they are dumb enough to kill themselves (he rejected proper cancer treatment, in favour of pseudo bullshit). That's one way they sometimes manage to get out being rich 😂

I'm afraid there isn't that much meat to the story... Here I'll give you the quotes relating to Rossmann, the rest is padding or embedding context if we want to be charitable.

“Elon Musk makes no secret of his support for Donald Trump. Trump has repeatedly described climate change as a hoax—this attitude is in stark contrast to Tesla’s mission to contribute to environmental protection through the production of electric cars,” Raoul Rossmann, Rossmann’s spokesman for the management, said in a statement.

Thirty-four of Rossmann’s 800 vehicles are Teslas, the company’s spokesperson told Fortune. The company plans to continue using those vehicles for “sustainability and resource conservation.”

Rossmann is the first major business to cite Musk’s political stance as a reason to halt future Tesla purchases. Other European companies have dropped orders from Tesla for different reasons.

Depends on how you count it. Would you consider Steve Jobs to be rich? Seems to me that he managed to find a way to graduate from his status as a rich person with his stupidity.

Apple needs a toggle for “I’m not a total noob” to disable some of these things. Well, Microsoft does too but for different things.

It's really getting on my nerves that the big tech corps all assume their users are stupid and they don't even offer advanced menus for the rest of us.

Vincent van Gogh definitely does not fit in there, unless you butcher his name.

Sure, just keep denying it, maybe the world will twist to match your notion.

Using “illegal” when referring to gameplay is already pushing it. It would raise eyebrows.

No, that's normal. Illegal moves in chess, illegal actions in Magic or Yugioh, illegal strategies in football.

Also tell them: In the worst case, when improvising despite your warnings, flared bases are essential!
