The real issue isn't the overproduction per se, but that we (globally speaking) don't have enough cheap scalable responsive distributed storage. I'm writing this from a privileged position since Switzerland has loads of dams and can pump water during such peaks. But it's clear that's not the solution everywhere. I hope a good cheap mass producible battery tech with less rare earth metal requirements comes along soon.

Including a 15 year old he started seeing when she was 13, who he left when she turned 21.

Some more detail: That's Maïwenn, born 17. April 1976. They married at the end of 1992, when she was 16 and a half, and in January 1993 at 16 and 9 months of age she gave birth to their daughter Shanna Besson. They then divorced in 1997, apparently because Luc Besson left her for Milla Jovovich who was the lead actress of his film The Fifth Element.

Various articles claim that they met when she was 12 and started dating when she was 15, but none cite the source for their original meeting time or beginning of the relationship, neither do the French or German Wikipedia articles. The English one links to this paywalled article so I can't verify.

Can I ask where you saw the claim that they started seeing each other when she was 13?

Probably this whole list, there is lots of code shared with Windows 7, but who really knows? Nobody is checking against Vista anymore.

Yes, it does become part of cleaning the window to also wipe the slats. They are usually made of Aluminium as far as I know.

I posted a picture in a nearby branch of the comment tree.

Ah no, no way!

You have an articulated rod on the inside which goes through a small hole to the blind cage outside, which you turn to move the blinds up and down, and the first bit of movement in either direction affects the tilt of the blinds. The rod can be straightened when you're not turning it and it has a plastic holder on the frame so it doesn't dangle around.

I'm not sure if I'm describing it well, here is a picture of the rod:

And a picture of the blinds:

Nowadays more and more people put in a little electric motor with a remote control instead.

I may be missing the point. How do the external venetian blinds clash with insect screens?

My father put screens in various windows in his house and still has the external venetian blinds nonetheless.

Yes. It keeps the heat that is generated on the surface of the blinds outside your window, so the room doesn't heat up so much.

Now I want a cute girl anime where the cute girls are HEMA nerds.

Instead of Girls & Panzer make it Girls & Zweihänder

External Venetian blinds are the best, but I think they aren't so popular in the US from what I heard?

Even worse, he quenched the superconductor instead of waiting! Then took his gun back but forgot a mag on the floor!

Last I heard from my father was around 4 hours for theirs. Though he's an Anesthesiologist so not directly involved in those processes.

Unfortunately turning on an MRI and building up the magnetic field takes hours
