I would suggest they're more in touch with the science. It haunts science, we know we must do it for the benefit of humanity, but with the knowledge - the powerful and capital will use it for themselves.

I make it a rule to only start inexpensive hobbies.

Once they have progressed, and I'm getting good at it, they turn to expensive hobbies.

This triggers the end of the hobby cycle and a new hobby is targeted.

Still confused. They're sinking shafts at an angle into rock, filling with water, the pressure towards the bottom breaks the rock.

And then? How is the water drained, the shaft re- stabilised, etc

Close family eating the placenta is common in many cultures. I would consider it vegan and an important part of culture and family.

Savory oatmeal.

Rolled oats with cold soy milk. Microwave 2-3 mins. Add chilli oil, spice paste, or ramen seasoning.

Tasty and not unhealthy. The plan is to prevent unhealthy food leading to a negative feedback loop.

Agreed, we've put it off for a while but it's only a matter of time before the comprises and contradictions again lead us down the path to fascism.

An optimist might say it gives us more chances, but bed rest might only leave us weaker.
