Disclaimer: I know nothing about modern tanks

Are the RPGs they're using powerful enough to damage the tanks Israel uses? I would assume the blast would mostly be deflected by the armour

Transit options in the decaying west are great. To go home and visit family for christmas my partner decided to take the train, (which already normally takes 20hr compared to 18hr straight of driving). Due to only having one rail line that is shared between passenger and freight trains and lack of funding resulting in engine failure it instead took them 36 hours to get back after being switched over to shuttle busses and having to stay overnight in a station. I like the fool I am opted to take a plane thinking it would be faster, but now I have had my plane cancelled a rebooked 3 days away. agony-limitless

I understand why unions push seniority based hiring to combat nepotism in hiring practices but goddamn is it frustrating having to learn a new job every year because someone more senior than me applied for my contract. Especially when it forces me to engage with the soul crushing act of "networking" because there's no guarantee of me getting another contract unless someone hires my antisocial ass. I can see why new hires can get a bad taste for unions if they're not engaged with the politics of contract negotiations and their only exposure is this

So does it looks like Milei will be able to pass many of his ideas into law? From a cursory reading of what the powers of the Argentine President are, it seems like he'll struggle to legislate domestic policy with the small minority of seats his party holds in the Upper and Lower Houses

The Canadian government has arrested Tarek Loubani, a doctor who was previously arrested by Egypt in 2013 for attempting to enter Gaza to provide aid, and in 2018 was shot in both legs by the IOF. He was arrested for...spraying ketchup on the wall outside of a Pro-Israel MPs office. What a joke of a country kkkanada

Is this Bob Rae the former Ontario premier? Why would anyone listen to what he has to say about Israel and Palestine he's so irrelevant

Definitely, either way fascism has taken hold. This is just a much more overt example like an SPD aligning with the Freikorps type moment

I don't know if this was already mentioned or if it got lost in the shuffle of all the other news going on, but on October 10th a deal for the creation of the new Slovak government was announced. The deal includes the 2 Social Democratic parties SMER-SD and HLAS-SD which as you may remember supported lowering Slovakian commitments to Ukraine and opposed the current western consensus on the war. To form government though the parties have formed a coalition with SNS, a neo-fascist party that has praised Nazi aligned leader Josef Tiso and advocated for the killings of Roma and Hungarians in Slovakia. Once again we see that Social Democrats are the left wing of fascism
