I can't recall what theme I installed, but a darker theme is always nice. Found this after a quick search: https://draculatheme.com/qbittorrent

It's based on the "Mozilla application framework" [0]

I believe they've inherited the K-9 Mail app project but haven't yet renamed it. At least it's still showing up as K-9 Mail for me on an Android device.

I specifically pay them because the money I'm giving them is put (mostly) directly into open source client/server components that benefit everyone at the end of the day, not just myself or the company but "humanity" in general.

If Bitwarden (the org) disappeared tomorrow, we would all still have access to really high quality software that someone could continue to push forward/develop and I appreciate that confidence and trust that they put forward.

meh. to each their own.

That's the whole point of the fediverse, at least from my perspective. embrace the smaller communities as much as the big ones. same with open vs closed. they all serve their purpose and minimizes a homogeneous environment that allows niches to exist, much like the early internet.

yes. I follow some guy (gal?) who does ceramic jewelry work. the only way to make the fediverse more interesting is by adding multiple perspectives, hobbies and interests. your content will undoubtedly be welcomed.

You can run your own docker instance if you don't trust them. The code - along with an example of how to run it - are here https://github.com/rystaf/mlmym

To the point of the person you're replying to, I think it may be treated the same as email. For example, if you send an email and it gets forwarded somewhere else, all the "custodian of your data" (lets say google in this example) can do is delete any copies they have on their server. Anything outside of that is outside their responsibility/capacity.
