I am hoping that hydrogen can fill that gap. There is a lot wrong with it, but it can burn like gas and Europe has been building a bunch of infrastructure for it. I don't think it is suitable for consumers like they tried to push with hydrogen car ideas, but it seems like it would have its place with large electrolysis solar stations on industrial rooftops and compressors inside.

I got suspenders (because the store was literally out of belts) for my work pants that use the worst claw clamp mechanism I have ever seen.

There is like a 5mm gap between the teeth so I have to fold my work pants belt line double and still if it experiences more than 0.1N of force, it will just fly off. I finally got a cheap 2nd hand belt.

You could replace the microcontroller with an ESP32S3 and use the speaker and microphone with Home Assistant/Music Assistant or Willow voice assistant to essentially replace a lot of the real-use functionality: lights, music, and timers that Amazon said itself was almost all of its use according to their data harvesting 😂.

It depends how DIY/electronics savvy you are or if you are looking for a project.

I always do LVM now. Virtual partitions are the way to go, personally.

The amount of times that the root partitions have been 20-25GB but have still gotten completely full such that updates break... Well I could count it on one hand but still difficult enough that I would rather just use virtual partitions, especially on a server.

I did this a few years ago.

Maybe the best option is to create an entirely new prefix in Heroic and install battle.net via their "run installer first" button. Via Winetricks GUI you can install the 2 fonts or whatever that the lutris script installs.

Then, copy the game files of StarCraft 2 or WoW or whatever to the new prefix program files.

Then, in battle.net, it will either auto-detect the game, or you can go through the "search for games" flow in settings.

That should work, it is always better to have a fresh prefix as it takes almost no space. Once everything is copied you can simply delete the old one.

If I remember right, this has been quietly in the works for years. It aims to be a 1-1 discord replacement.

Screen sharing/streaming, group video channels, voice channels are a priority, some of which completely do not work at all or very limited in stoat (the last I heard about it). I think that is the difference.

A different focus than matrix or stoat which seem more about being a slack alternative first and then voice/video were thrown in later with YMMV results.

Isn't this the guy who has posted a bunch of purely vibe-"coded" spam and then deletes it if the backlash becomes too big? Like the "temple-runner game" posted last week?

I am interested what this is used for in practice.

For me, the biggest distraction is browsing itself. If I am trying to work on one of my many projects, I get distracted by cool YouTube videos or diving too deep into MCU features, or the "best" way to accomplish a task.

This seems like a similar feature as putting the browser in full screen mode, or am I missing something?

Also FormFutura is a Dutch company that sells recycled PET, PLA, ABS, ASA, and TPU filament and has a website in English with good prices.

Also a recycling service of course

We did exactly the opposite of what you say, we monitized the scams and turned to entire internet into an scam-ad infested wasteland of the greed of 10 people at the cost of driving the rest of humanity to mindless addictions, grooming, and manipulating human psyche to eek out more money and mass-propagandize.

The majority of the internet is 10x worse than it was 20 or 30 years ago and there are literally more bots than people, according to research.

I fine this a funny one.

If you can reconfigure a physical switch, that it by definition is not a kill switch for those functions. It is literally the same as turning them off in software.

Hell, I was decent at spotting AI gen content 1-2 years ago, but nowadays I get constantly fooled if I am just casually browsing. (Except electronics BS ai-gen tutorial websites that are generated for nearly every subset and are always the same garbage look and pop ups)

AI is dangerous. Curious that it is being pushed so hard by the Epstein class billionaires right when they are being exposed.
