You’re right, of course. I wouldn’t go so far as to say completely different effects, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to someone dependent on alcohol, but it has been a superior substitute for me personally.

Please engage with contemporary, mainstream historians who have studied the now open Soviet archives. I recommend R. W. Davies and Stephen G. Wheatcroft, The Years of Hunger: Soviet Agriculture, 1931-1933. You can just read the introduction (all but the first edition) where they discuss and go into detail on Holodomor as genocide. It’s in English and pretty accessible to lay people. The rest of the book will likely be of no interest to you, as it’s part of a series of very dry academic publications by the authors that goes into the minutiae of Soviet agriculture. If that interests you, go for it.
This book is in libgen.
Comrade, I understand this completely. However, if it’s alcohol you’re talking about, that shit has lasting negative impacts on your brain. I would go so far as to suggest weed instead if you can acquire it safely. Shit sucks, I’ve been there (I’m there rn actually).
Yeah, they deployed it on the USS Ponce like ten years ago. I was trying to see if the capabilities were on Wiki as open source, but they’re too vague for me to be specific.
What would happen if capital succeeded in smashing the Republic of Soviets? There would set in an era of the blackest reaction in all the capitalist and colonial countries, the working class and the oppressed peoples would be seized by the throat, the positions of international communism would be lost.
Damn, really feels like we’ve been seized by the throat
The first step of any recovery program or mental health treatment is having stable housing.
It’s so fucking depressing and enraging in aggregate, but I can’t stop.
Bad bit. Try harder.
Lmao, didn’t know we had the yassified emote
Contemporary laser weapons are actually useful for anti-drone operations. The biggest reason they’re useless otherwise is that the critical technologies for sufficiently high power lasers aren’t mature. You can disable a drone by just blinding it, and it’s much easier to destroy/disable a slow moving target (relative to missiles).
The complications with laser weapons against drones is that you have to be careful where you aim them, because lasers just keep going. You can easily lase something unintentionally, like aircraft, satellites, and anything on the ground if you’re careless.
However, as far as I’m aware they are all still in prototype stages
Babe, wake up, it’s 2 AM: time to relive childhood trauma in vivid detail.
