Your comment does not belong in this subreddit. It does not add to the topic, if you think comments don't fit in the community do report them and move on.

Edit You also are quite a new user to the lemmy-verse from this month (compared to multiple year old users posting to you), which mostly is reducing the quality on communities on one hand and also got quite a few comments deleted. I urge you to read up on nettiquette and change your attitude if you want to be a positive contributing influence to this community.

That can't be good

Good for speculation though!

For me the important part is about perspectives. I try to understand where entities and groups of people come from and try to use frame works to understand them and their labeling for themselves and the labeling and frameworks of others on them.

This way I can without trouble understand why some Trots say China isn't AES and yet understand why from the perspective of the US State Department China is AES and how it is altered from the CPC's self description. This is quite important to not end discussions with properly having applied a label to things which has a moralist meaning attached to it, too.

However what does in fact is the case and if you can describe structures and objectify some views is another question, that takes for me is subordinate to the societal struggle taking place in regards to that country (and where I am, what power I have and what I can influence). I also like:

Wir nennen Kommunismus die wirkliche Bewegung, welche den jetzigen Zustand aufhebt

Which means communism is the real movement which changes the current situation. Since that is somewhat in the future I might be wrong with labeling some groups communist. Doesn't matter much though. There are also plenty things besides those true communists you can only asses from future point of views.

Edit To do that you have to still read the theory and understand it somewhat, by discussing it with comrades and academics, else you end up with a discursive liberal geo politics that can't explain anything and misses that your position is bound to you.

Do we? I have yet to see billions of Hexbear user's money invested into China, yet USA's, EU's billionaires do. Seems that those capitalists are supporting China much more than Hexbear is supporting China.

Could be many things, but also could be DIS inclusivity or pup play personality inclusivity.

This "own instance" concept is a bit questionable though. "Own communities" I would accept, but the servers are public goods, the communities are like rules with certain rule sets.

Couldn't have one as it wouldn't work to separate the star of david from it and the historical context of it.

We do have an israel-cool emoji though :israel-cool:

If there was one in the line of england-cool it would have to be another symbol of specific aspects of the state.

We don't have :iran-cool: or 🇸🇦 -cool: neither, nor :turkey-cool:

Those were when I really had to fully disengage for my own mental health because it was just so intensely unsafe being on that site.

I would like to add that you used the magic word here. If you do a comment with the single word disengage on hexbear the person talking with you is supposed to disengage and not further comment at that chain of comments. This can be helpful. Feel free to report (doesn't have to be extensive text) when people disregard that (which is punished swift and decisively in my opinion) or if you don't feel welcome.

That said there might be some topics in which some users express opinions I wouldn't like to read and they don't like some I write. Still the site's user base is held to be against antisemitism, though what they means varies a ton.

Your instance and lit cafe are two lemmy's I like quite a bit and was really fond to have encountered them. Thanks for creating and keeping up some cultural spaces!

This longing to be a VIP (which is only a status expressed by purchase power) exposes the monstrous social fabric and social identity that capitalism creates for those ghouls.

"people in your country/political entity" / "stakeholder in within the territory controlled by the state's monopoly on violence" do roll really easy from the tongue.
