Let me put it this way: Her usually gravelly voice is sounding less and less like it requires acting.

It's fundamentally the same. There's been a few status quo changes, but not many. Bart's homeroom teacher was replaced out of necessity after her voice actress died. Moe finally caught a break and got married, ending his jealousy of Homer and Midge. Quality wise, while it's not as good as the golden age, it's returned to being fairly decent. Easy 8/10.

Fox and Fox News are different channels. Also, the former is owned by Disney now.

Jessie what the fuck are you talking about?

You say that like that wasn't always what it was supposed to do.

  1. Try not to fall into the trap of groupthink. The "reddit hive mind" was one of the worst things about our predecessor, and it seems to have followed us here.

  2. Understand that humans are not, and never will be, perfect. Endless purity tests do not accomplish anything other than turning away newcomers.

  3. For the love of God, pick up a hobby. My feed on any given day is 99.8% US politics and activism. I'm not saying that these things aren't important, but it gets exhausting when it's the only thing people want to discuss.

Ideologies have these things called tenets that define what they are.

Exactly. Hence why he used a text-to-speech program to talk. He had a degenerative condition called ALS that took most of his motor functions. It would be very difficult for someone in that state to do something like that.

Obviously I wasn't including myself in that statement.

So in the middle of the night I heard a noise that I thought was some kind of bug. After 10 - 15 minutes I realized that whatever it was wasn't going away on it's own, so I got up to shoo it away. This little guy was on the floor screaming at the slider door being harassed by my two cats. I don't have a chimney or attic, so I have no idea how they got inside. When I opened the door, instead of taking flight, they simply hopped out the door froggy style. Were they injured? I don't think my cats did it if so, because they mostly just seemed confused by the poor creature. And what were they doing in the house?

Additional pictures of my unexpected guest being rudely gawked at by my feline friend:

And yes, I'm taking my cats to the vet just in case they got bitten.

UPDATE: Thank you to everyone concerned. I have contacted a doctor and she said that given the full details of the story I shouldn't need to worry. The poor thing was inside for *at most" an hour when everyone was awake, so it's highly unlikely to have bitten anyone before being spotted by me. The only concern remains the cats, who as mentioned found the bat before I did. I plan to vaccinate them ASAP. Once again, THANK YOU, but doc says I'm fine.
